Term vs. Whole Life Insurance: What You Need to Know

Do you have term life insurance? If you have a family, you need to.

There are a ton of various “life” Insurance’s out there, but the only one you need if you have a family is Term.

If you are single, don’t have kids and don’t have any dependents, you don’t not need life insurance.

Some companies will try and talk you into it when your single to “lock in” a lower price, but just know rates have been continuously going down for term, and you don’t need to spend money on things you don’t really need… I don’t have Term, because I don’t have kids or dependents, but if I was married and my income was a big part of the household, and if I had kids, I would 100% have it.

I recommend looking at Zander Insurance online, or another company that gives you various quotes from several companies, so you can shop around.

Get anywhere from $500-$1 million dollar policy depending on your income. Basically you want anyone you are leaving behind to have enough buffer to pay for outstanding bills, the house and cover the household while dealing with a loss.

I just think of that family who died in the crash with Kobe and left their two teenage children at home alone. I really hope they had insurance to take care of their household and take care of those kids —even through college.

You NEED this insurance if you have a family. It’s one of the most loving and responsible things you can do. Please don’t leave you spouse or kids having to figure out how to get the money to pay for the house and bills and everything in between in case of a loss.

You NEVER know. But please be covered just in case.

Do you have term life insurance or another kind of insurance? Let me know!
